About Us

Hi!  We’re Tia and Christa (mother and daughter), and Florida Balm is our passion project to share all the best of Florida, beyond beaches and bars!  

Parks, wildlife refuges, kayaking and shopping at local farmer’s markets are some of our favorite places and things to do.

And we’re particularly passionate about supporting and highlighting Florida’s small businesses and farms. Visiting u-pick berry farms, going antiquing, buying fresh Florida meat from a farmer’s market and taking a great walking ghost tour are all things that we love (and write about here!). 

With the world around us often filled with chaos, it’s important to support our neighbors and get outside more and appreciate real Florida.
