Watch for Manatee and Dolphin Swimming Close to Shore!
The calm waters and healthy shoreline make North Gulf Shore Beach a great spot for spotting marine life. Keep an eye out for dolphins, manatees, and a variety of fish.
The day we were visiting (August, late morning) there were two manatee swimming very close to the shoreline within feet of water! But it’s also fairly common to see dolphin swimming close to shore.
