Airports Near St. Augustine and Ways to Get Around Town
Most visitors arrive through Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) — just about an hour’s drive from the city. While Northeast Florida Regional Airport serves private and limited commercial flights, renting a car from JAX is your best bet for flexibility.
The Historic Downtown District is walkable and full of charm, but many top attractions — including the beaches and lighthouse — are spread out.Â
