Everglades Gator Grill
Stop by this local favorite laid-back restaurant for a good lunch, located just down the street from the Everglades Outpost Refuge. They serve a good lunch but yes, you should definitely try the gator (at least once). Check out the Yelp reviews and photos of Everglades Gator Grill here!
Everglades National Park Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center
We recommend stopping by the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center located just before entering the national park. It’s free, and serves as the main visitor center to Everglades National Park.
It’s located just before entering the gates of the national park, and there are displays, a short edu-movie, boardwalk with opportunities to see alligators up close, a gift shop, restrooms and plenty of free easy shady parking.
