South Florida is located along the east coast including the counties of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Sometimes the area a little north of Palm Beach is also included as far north as Jupiter and the Treasure Coast area.
This area attracts millions of tourists each year. But tourists visit for all different reasons like… many visit for the beaches and fun. But tons of tourists visit for the unique nature and wildlife found only in this part of the world. From lighthouses to beaches to the Everglades and wildlife refuges, shopping and design districts, food and nightlife. South Florida has a little something for everyone!
Miami
Miami is filled with attractions, parks, beaches, shopping and fun events to visit. Whether you love nature, wildlife, the ocean or fun… there’s something for everyone. We like to visit less-touristy, off-the-beaten path spots and continue to add them here! There are many towns and cities located inside Miami-Dade County like Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach and many more. There are two National Parks, Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park. And there is one Florida State Park, Oleta in North Miami. There are farms in the Redlands, many weekend Farmer’s Markets, Zoo Miami, lots of beaches and marinas, the Design District, and so much more!
