Key West Mallory Square at Sunset

Key West Mallory Square at Sunset: where tradition, spectacle, and natural beauty converge in perfect harmony. This iconic locale isn’t just a spot on the map; it’s a ritual, a cherished tradition where locals and visitors alike gather to witness nature’s grand finale.

Every evening, just before the sun sets, everyone makes their way to the end of Duval Street in time to watch as the sun dips below the horizon in a blaze of color.

Key West Mallory Square at Sunset is a free gathering and occurs no matter what day or time of the year. Mallory Square is the heart of Old Town Key West.

So what’s this Key West Mallory Square at Sunset all about?

Why Join the Gathering at Mallory Square is a Must-do!

Street performers, many of whom have performed here for many years, show up and claim their space on the Square and give one fantastic performance after another.

There are street vendors selling food, drinks, art and jewelry.

Steps away there are bars, restaurants, shops and hotels, as well as attractions like the Key West Aquarium and Shipwreck Museum.

What other place on Earth crams this much fun into such a historic and beautiful spot on an island overlooking gorgeous sunsets every evening of the year?

It’s family friendly fun, and there’s plenty for everyone!

Historic Duval Street

Walk, ride bike or scooter down Duval Street to the end. You can drive but you’ll need to find a public parking lot or garage with space, and you’ll still need to walk a bit to get to the Square.

Duval Street is the central street of fun where you’ll discover the world’s smallest bar, tons more bars, bars where the great author Hemingway socialized, and even more bars.

There’s tons of shopping, an awesome cookie shop (our favorite) that makes THE biggest best cookies ever. And there’s every type of restaurant and food type you can think of, including Hard Rock to Wendy’s, fresh seafood and snacks and candlelight dinners.

And during the day, there are plenty of street vendors selling art and jewelry.
