Sadly, as of summer 2023 Fort Myers Beach and it’s fantastic Times Square area are not reopened. Severe hurricane damage wiped out much of the area and it remains in a state of rebuilding. We pray all the fantastic restaurants, small shops and other area businesses come back, and it all comes back bigger and better than ever!

Fort Myers Beach is a fun, active place to visit for the whole family. Fort Myers Beach is often considered to be the world’s safest beach, and there’s a large stretch of it to enjoy! It is located in Southwest Florida and spans across 7 miles of coastline. There are 26 different public access spots to the full Fort Myers Beach.
Where’s the most fun in Fort Myers? It’s in Times Square! Yes, Fort Myers Beach has it’s own Times Square and it’s (in our opinion) WAY BETTER than anything New York City offers! Fort Myers Times Square is considered the Downtown of Fort Myers. And it’s lots of fun!

Public access spots and parking tips
Parking is central to the Fort Myers Beach Times Square area. There is a big public parking lot in the center of lots of shops and the beach (can’t miss it!). There are also several other places to park along the main road running along the coast. Arrive early on the weekends when parking is easiest. The whole area is VERY walkable so you’ll probably want to park in the center of the fun.
